HomeMy WebLinkAboutProperty Maintenance - 9/1/1995September 1, 1995 Thomas Roblee 2463 Burnwood Drive Oshkosh WI 54901 Dear Mr Roblee: A reinspection was made today to assure compliance on orders issued for your rental property at 243 West Irving Avenue. The inspection revealed nothing has been done as ordered May 25, 1995 concerning the foundation of the kitchen area, side porch and steps and illumination of these steps. I have had no definite confirmation that Jack Paulson is hired to do the work either. It also appears the dwelling is occupied in violation of Section 16-35A (6) which states no owner shall allow occupancy of a dwelling unit until it meets all provisions of the Minimum Housing Code. Therefore a FINAL INSPECTION will be made on Sie~r 15,1995 t~ assure compliance. Failure to comply by this time will result in citations being issued and court action pursued. Sincerely, Bruce Luedtke Housing Inspector FINAL NOTICE cc: Allyn Dannhoff Chief Building Inspector City Attorney & Occupants ~~ ~~~~~ ~~ ~~< <<~~ ~ pie i l F+z F `^! ~~ e.. ~~s~~r.~~4~ : ~: ~~ Code Enforcement Division Department of Community Development City of Oshkosh 0 CORRECTION NOTICE **************************************************** Date of Inspection: Occupancy Inspected: Address: Owners Name: Owners Address: Owners Telephone #: Notice Mailed/Explalned to: Copy To: May 25, 1995 Two Family Dwelling 203 W Irving Avenue Thomas Roblee 2463 Burnwood Drive Mailed following reinspection to assure compliance on orders issued Apri125, 1995. No owner shall rent to any other person for occupancy or allow any person to occupy any dwelling unit or premises unless it is safe & clean, and complies with all provisions of the Minimum Housing Code and with Section 18-79.1 of this Code. 2 16-37A (3) Garbage is again being stored at the front of the dwelling West of the front porch by the driveway. This violation was ordered corrected Apri125, 1995. This is a FINAL d~' NOTICE for this violation. Future violations will result in citations being requested and issued to both the owner (and occupants of the dwelling if known). 3 18-79.1A Now that the breezeway and garage have been removed, it is apparent that there is 16-35A (1) severe deterioration to the perimeter beam of the rear attached portion of the dwelling (kitchen). It also does not appear that the kitchen portion is properly supported t~ allowing the kitchen portion to pull away from the main dwelling and sag downward. ~ ~ An inspection by the building inspector will be required before closing up the area in question (Southwest corner)to determine what steps may be required to repair the support structure in this area. 4 16-33A (6) L A platform and steps including handrails ~d guardrails built to code sl be~nstalled ~ p1 ~. for the West entry/exit door.
