RE: 820 & 826 John Street
On September 13, 1991, I discussed with Jerry Mathusek, owner of the-above
referenced property, his proposal to place gravel on the lot line between 820 and
826 John Street, with the intent to provide parking for his tenants.
Mr. Mathusek asked me if there was any Code that would prevent him from placing
gravel on his lot. I indicated that there was not, but that. there was a section
in the Zoning Ordinance (30-32(B)(5)) that does prohibit parking in designated
setbacks -- in this case, a 7 1/2 ft. side yard setback would apply. He then
indicated that if his tenants park there, that's not his problem and he has no
intention of prohibiting his tenants from parking there.
It would appear appropriate to monitor this site and appropriately deal with any
violation of the above referenced Zoning Ordinance standard.
If you have any questions or concerns, let me know. Also, the picture of this
site is attached to this memo.
Thanks for your assistance in this matter.
