1, ~r~ ~~ ~ No person shall operate a rooming house with mare than
four (4) roomers unless•he holds a current license or
temporary permit issued by the Housing Inspector in his
name for the specific rooming house.
At the time of inspection this dwelling was beinc used as
a single family unit with seven (7) unrelated persons
..sharing the entire building. Assessor's records indicate
that this dwelling is a two family building but there is
no kitchen facility for a second living unit and no sep-
aration of units. Therefore the occupancy of the dwelling
shall be reduced to=no more than four (4) unrelated per-
sons.
2. ILHR82.21 There is an open sewer condition in the second floor rear
bedroom where a plumbing fixture was removed without cap-
ping the waste piping.
3. 16-33 (7) There is no smoke detector in the basement and the others
are non-functional,
4, 16-35 (1) The second story bathroom floor covering is in very poor
condition making it impossible to clean and sanitize.
5. DNR The hose in the bathtub on the second floor is creating a
possible potable water cross-connection and shall be re-
moved. DEFICIENCIES i:UST BE CORRECTED AND APPROVED BEFORE

7. 16-34 (3) A switchplate is missing in the dining room.
8. 16-35 (d) The upper sash in one of the dining room windows is badly
broken.
9. 16-34 (3) The kitchen ceiling fixture and the front hall ceiling
fixture are loose and hanging down from the junction boxes
10. 16-34 (3) A GFI electrical wall type receptacle is required in the
first floor bathroom.
11, 16-34 (3) The first floor bathroom light fixture is loose on the
wall and defective.
12. 16-35 (3) The kitchen sink waste has been improperly repaired to
stop a leak.
A reinspection of the property will be made on January 22,
1988 to assure compliance. The occupancy shall be reduced
to no more than four (4) persons by January 31, 1988 or
steps shall be taken to properly use the dwelling as two
living units with separate leases for each.
