PURPOSE: APPROVE COUNCIL MEMBER / MAYOR SALARY INCREASE

A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH PERTAINING TO COUNCIL
MEMBER / MAYOR SALARIES
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh does ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That pursuant to Section 2-9(E) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code and
§64.08 of the Wisconsin Statutes pertaining to C ouncil Member Salaries, the following
salaries are approved:
Council Member -- $3750.00 per year
Mayor -- $6000.00 per year
SECTION 2. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication with the new salary amounts to be paid beginning after the April
2009 organizational meeting of the Common Council for all Council Members elected in
April 2008 and for all Council Members and the Mayor elected in April 2009.
