HomeMy WebLinkAbout08-16 JANUARY 8, 2008 08-16 ORDINANCE FIRST READING (CARRIED______ LOST_______ LAID OVER_______ WITHDRAWN_______) PURPOSE:PARKING REGULATIONS INITIATED BY:PARKING UTILITY A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27-48 (A) AND 27-49 (B) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO TEN HOUR METERED PARKING LOTS AND MONTHLY PARKING LOTS. The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 1. That Section 27-48 (A) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to ten hour metered parking lots is hereby amended as follows: Delete Therefrom: (A) North Main Street/400 Block West Parking Lot; the perimeter stalls bordering Church Avenue, the two most easterly stalls in the fourth east/west aisle south of Church Avenue, the four most northwesterly stalls in the north/south aisle, and the five stalls in the southeast corner facing towards Main Street, and the three most southern stalls in the far west north/south row located adjacent to Algoma Boulevard. Add Thereto:(A) North Main Street/400 Block West Parking Lot; the perimeter stalls bordering Church Avenue, the four (4) most southerly stalls on the perimeter of the lot bordering Division Street, the two most easterly stalls in the fourth east/west aisle south of Church Avenue, the four most northwesterly stalls in the north/south aisle, and the five stalls in the southeast corner facing towards Main Street, and the three most southern stalls in the far west north/south row located adjacent to Algoma Boulevard. SECTION 2. That Section 27-49 (B) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to monthly parking lots is hereby amended as follows: Delete Therefrom:(B) North Main Street/400 Block West Parking Lot; the stalls on the perimeter of the lot bordering Division Street and Algoma Boulevard and the second east/west aisle south of Church Avenue. JANUARY 8, 2008 08-16 ORDINANCE FIRST READING CONT’D Add Thereto:(B) North Main Street/400 Block West Parking Lot; the stalls on the perimeter of the lot bordering Division Street except the four (4) most southerly stalls and the stalls on the perimeter of lot bordering Algoma Boulevard and the second east/west aisle south of Church Avenue. SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, publication, and placement of the appropriate signage.
