AWARD BID FOR AMBULANCES (3) FOR OSHKOSH
FIRE DEPARTMENT ($388,755.00)
PURCHASING DIVISION
PURPOSE:
WHEREAS, the City of Oshkosh has heretofore advertised for bids for three (3)
ambulances for the Oshkosh Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, upon the opening and tabulation of bids, it appears that the following
is the most advantageous bid:
MEDTEC AMBULANCE CORP.
64697 US 33 East
Goshen, IN 46526
3 units --
$388,755.00
WHEREAS, expenditures relating to this project will be paid on or after the passage
of this resolution and the City reasonably expects to reimburse itself for these expenditures
in the 2008 Capital Improvements Program by incurring debt; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to transfer funds from General Fund Equity to finance
the purchase until such time as bonding for the 2008 Capital Improvements Program is
completed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the proper City official are authorized
and direct to transfer the sum of Three Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred
Fifty-Five and no/100 DOLLARS ($ 388,755.00) from Account No 100-0071-3460-00000

Acct. No. 323-0230-7210-06813 - Equipment Fund -Ambulance
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that
the said bid is hereby accepted and the proper City officials are hereby authorized and
directed to enter into an appropriate agreement for the purpose of same, all according to
plans, specifications, and bid on file. Money for this purpose is hereby appropriated from:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proper City officials are authorized and
directed to execute all documents necessary to consummate this transaction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution is a declaration of official intent
under Treasury Regulation Section 1.103-18, or amendment thereto, and shall be made
available for public inspection pursuant to Chapter 19, of the Wisconsin Statutes.
The maximum principal amount of the obligation expected to be issued for this project is
Three Hundred Eighty-eight Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-Five and no/100 DOLLARS
($388,755.00)
