The attic access panel is required to maintain the required insulation value when opened. Currently there is no access to the attic due to the blown in insulation being installed over the top of he panel. Nails are required to be installed at the hangers in place of screws unless approval .is granted by the manufacturer of the hanger. NOTE: Make sure that your framing plan is approved prior to installing the nails in case the 'beams and/or joists are overspanned.
