Dear Mr. Langohr:
On September 4, 1991, the City of Oshkosh Board of Zoning Appeals approved the
following variance(s) requested for the property referenced above.
To permit the placement of parking spaces and driveways within the front yard
setback areas from Ripon Lane and W. So. Park Ave. (Hwy. 44) and provide 43
parking spaces for 11,800 sq. ft. of commercial retail building, with the
conditions that (1) dumpster areas be landscaped or fenced; (2) 9 parking
spaces be eliminated at the NE corner of the site (providing 43 parking
spaces) and this area be landscaped; (3) the entire site along Ripon Lane be
landscaped with columnar solid type plantings; and (4) a detailed landscape
plan be submitted for review and approval by the Dept. of Community
Development, which includes, but is not limited to proposed plantings as shown
on the submitted site plan. All landscaping work is to be completed prior to
final occupancy of the buildings, unless otherwise agreed to by the
Department.
The decision of the Board was filed in the Planning Office of the Department of
Community Development on September 5, 1991. According to Section 30-6(C)(3) and
(4) of the City of Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance, your variance(s) will expire on March
4, 1992 unless you have obtained a permit for the activity allowed by the
variance(s). If you fail to get a permit by this date, you must reapply for a
variance if you intend to go ahead with the activity allowed by the variance.
BUilding permits may be obtained from the Building Inspector's office in Room 205
of City Hall between the hours of 8 - 9 AM and 1 - 2 PM, Monday thru Friday, or
call (414) 236-5050.
