BOX 2903 (920) 235-3310 OSHKOSH, WISCONSIN 54903 FAX (920) 235-4002 January 3, 2002 Matt Tucker Planning Department City of Oshkosh Re: Mr. Tucker; This letter will confirm our phone discussion of January 2,2002. St. Peters School building has not been used in the last three years as a day school. It has been in continuous use as a religious education school, and for other education and office purposes. All. classrooms are currently set up "as classrooms", as they have been in the past. The Unified Catholic School System of Oshkosh is considering re-using this facility as a day school, starting in late Spring or late Summer of 2002. Because this proposed change would involve a significant expenditure in time and dollars, the UCS school system asked me to discuss this situation with City Hall, to be assured that there would not be any zoning problems with this plan. You indicated to me that because this facility has been in continuous use as a educational facility, that there would not be a need for UCS to re- apply for a conditional use permit. Based on our phone co:p.versation, UCS will continue to pursue this use. chitect, AlA cc: Allyn Dannhoff, Chief Building Inspector Kevin Purtell, UCS of Oshkosh c:/Iettersl02040103.wpd
