Wisconsin 54902-1130 ON THE WATER City of Oshkosh Nov. 21, 1985 Dennis Tremh ly . 2124 Hazel St. Oshkosh, WI 54901 RE: 1020 Harney Ave. Dear Mr. Trembly: Inspection of your property at 1020 Harney Ave. revealed the following violations of the Wisconsin Administrative Code Chatper ILHR 82 as it relates to the buildings plumbing system. 1. Building sewer cleanout opening is not air and water tight allowing infiltration of sewer air into the building. 2. Water heater relief valve discharge pipe is threaded at the base end. 3. Electrical problems exist in the basement area and will have to be inspected by the City Electrical Inspector to determine the degree of hazard and the required corrections necessary for code compliance. 4. Unapproved fixtures and material in the first floor bathroom. (lavatory flexible supplies and fiberglass tub and shower module) 5. Overloaded horizontal branch wastes to the bathtub, kitchen sink and laundry stand pipe on the first floor. 6. Unvented connections of fixture traps to the drain waste system at the bathtub, kitchen sink, and laundry stand pipe. 7. Unapproved connection between-dissimilar pipe materials. (plastic to cast iron) 8. Joints in the plastic waste system for the bathtub, kitchen sink and laundry were made without following the cleaning procedure required to make an approved solvent weld joint. Correction of the listed violations will require licensed contractors with permits fo work issued by the City of Oshkosh. Items number 1, 2 & 3 pose a potential hazard to the building occupants and Shall be corrected immediately. Reinspection will be on Nov. 29, 1985 to determine progress.
