Code COMM 21.02 Compliance No Compliance Date 09/13/2007 ~II dwellings shall be designed by the method of structural analysis or by the method of accepted practice specified in each part of the UDC. Due to this being an engineered system I contacted the engineer of record on the submitted plans. Mr. Seal stated that the engineering that f,vas submitted is now invalid due to the code changing and the fact that he is no longer the engineer of record for Sunspace. Please submitt he valid stamped plans and engineering for review and approval. Code COMM 21.02 Compliance No Compliance Date 09/13/2007 Per the information submitted it states that 2(2x8) or 2(2x6) ledgers are required against the house for the floor panels. Please provide the orrect document which shows that 2(2x4)'s are allowed for the attachment at the house. I also need the nailing and or bolting specifications. I.\re washers required for the bolts? Item # 3 Code COMM 21.02 Compliance No Compliance Date 09/13/2007 Description It appears that some of the panels are starting to delaminate from being exposed to the elements. Please provide a written statement from the ~ngineer of record for this room that this does not comprimise this system and that the warranty will remain for this installation. 08/14/2007 Last Updated Item # 4 Code COMM 21.10 Compliance No Compliance Date 09/13/2007 Description IThe wood sheathing panels are to be pressure treated and/or protected from the earth where they are 18" or less to grade. There is no bearing information located on the engineering provided. Please review the pictures that detail 1/4"-1/2" gaps between the osb floor panels and the beams. The angled beams seem to not be properly supported. The fastener at this location is not attached properly at the angled walls. Provide fasteners to connect the beams to the wood columns at the built up areas.
