Dear Mr. Gardner;
I am following up with this letter regarding the status of 579 Evans S1. As of today I have
not received revised plans or been made aware of any variance application to remodel the
property as a duplex or single family dwelling. On October 11, 2007 you submitted plans
for the remodeling work to repair damage from the fire. After receiving the plans I
forwarded a copy to Zoning Administrator Todd Muehrer for his review. The zoning
review resulted in a denial ofthe application due to substandard lot area per section 30-35
(B)(4)(b) of the City of Oshkosh Municipal code.
On October 12,2007 I spoke with you and informed you of the denial from the Zoning
Administrator. I directed you to call the Todd Muehrer directly to discuss options to
apply for a variance and! or discuss what options you have to use the property for a
residence. From my review ofthe building plans I will need to have more detail and
information from you for me to approve thehuilding plans. The attached plan review
lists that information.
In order for the City of Oshkosh to allow work to proceed on this building you will have
receive zoning approval and resubmit building plans to be approved.
