Please provide information addressing the following issues: · MUN 15 NOTE: Contact Anne Boyce - Health Services (920) 236-5029 for additional information as to Health code requirements. Preliminary review indicates the possible need for dipper well not shown on plans by Blizzard Machines. . IBC 716.2.2 Concealed wall spaces. Fireblocking shall be provided in concealed spaces of stud walls and partitions, including furred spaces, at the ceiling and floor levels and at lO-foot (3048 mm) intervals both vertical and horizontal. Revise Wall section B / A500 to 'show requiredfireblocking at ceiling level . IECC 802.2.7 Slabs on grade. The minimum thermal resistance (R-value) of the insulation around the perimeter of the slab floor shall be as specified in Table 802.2(1),802.2(2),802.2(3) or 8022(4). Provide R-value for the thermal break material specified as 45# felt in section 1 / S200. · IECC 502.1.1 [Comm 63.0502 (1)] Moisture control. (a) General. Except as specified in par. (b), the design shall not create conditions of accelerated deterioration from moisture condensation. Vapor retarders shall be provided on all warm-in-winter sides offrame walls, floors and ceilings. The vapor retarder shall have a maximum permeance rating of 1.0 perm when tested in accordance with Procedure A of the ASTM E 96. The vapor retarder shall be installed on the warm-in-winter side of the thermal insulation. Sections shown on sheet A 500 do not show how a vapor retarder will be applied. Accessible routes within the site shall be provided from public transportation stops, accessible parking and accessible passenger loading zon~s, and public streets or sidewalks to the accessible building entrance served. Sheet Al 00 does not show how these requirements will be met. Provide additional details showing location of accessible parking spaces, and route. Provide additional details for "Ramp Sidewalk" shown on site plan. · Comm63.1017 Design criteria. (1) Thermal performance. (a)Except as provided in par. (b), the thermal performance values for the exterior envelope of buildings or areas of buildings that are warehouses that meet the criteria ofs. Comm 63.1014 (2)(b), or that are factories shall not exceed the values in Table 63.1017-1. The calculation procedures ofs. Comm 63.1019 shall be used to show compliance Submit Energy calculations for building addition. · IBC 2902 Table 2902.1 Minimum Number of Plumbing Facilities. A minimum of one service sink is required to be provided. IMC 403.3 [Comm 64.0403 (6)J Ventilation rate. Janitor closets. A janitor closet that has only one service sink may be provided with either natural ventilation via a window or louvered opening with at least 2 square feet (0.2 m2) of area openab1e directly to the outside or mechanical exhaust ventilation as specified in Table 64.0403. Plans submitted do not show the required service sink included in building plans. Comm 62.2900 (2) requires a service sink to be located in a janitors closet, and the IMC requires ventilation of that space. Provide additional details / floor plan showing where the required service sink will be located and how required ventilation will be provided. · IBC 2603 This chapter governs the use offoam plastic insulation within buildings and structures. No construction details wereprovided for the walk in cooler and freezer. Provide documentation for cooler construction showing compliance with these requirements. · Sheet A207, Roof plan includes a note that roof scuppers on existing roof are to be relocated. Provide additional information detailing where these will be located, and what is being done on the existing roof to redirect the water to these new locations · Plans do not show location of any condensing equipment for coolers or freezer. Depending on location screening and or structural modifications may be required. Please provide location and information on refrigeration equipment. Reminders: Prior to permit issuance our office must receive approval from the Planning Department. You will need to make a separate site plan review submittal to the Planning Department.
