ProblemNiolation of: 16-35A (6), Rental of dwelling units with
uncorrected code violations.
Brief History Review: Orders issued June 25,2001 to repair/replace
windows, steps and handrails. A Final notice was issued August 28,
2001 when reinspection revealed no compliance. There has been no
contact from Mr Roycraft concerning these violations and dates of
completion. On September 6, 2001 another reinspection revealed no
compliance. I am requesting five days of violations in order to urge Mr
Roycraft to repair his property.

2. August 28,2001- A FINAL Notice was issued having has no contact from the
owner.
3. September 6, 2001 - An inspection was made to assure compliance of orders
issued. The reinspection revealed little or no compliance. See Photos dtd
09/06/01.
4. September 21, 2001 - Citations issued for non-compliance.
5. October 10, 2001- Owner pleads Not Guilty and trial date set for 11/27/01.
Owner states in court room violations have been corrected.
6. October 11, 2001- A reinspection revealed some work had been done but did
not meet the requirements ordered corrected.
7. October 15, 2001 - Another Final Notice was issued indicating uncorrected
violations.
8. October 29, 2001- Letter dated 10/25/01 was received indicating corrections
that had been completed.
9. November 7,2001- Another reinspection revealed items reported corrected
were not meeting the requirements of the orders.
10. November 19, 2001- Met with owner at counter City Hall. Owner was
informed to call us to make an inspection under the front porch of 141 W South
Park as requested June 25, 2001. Reviewed the orders with owner and pointed
out that the order of June 25, 2001 required steps replacement, not repair &
inspection under porch at 141 W South Park.
11. November 20, 2001- Owner called for inspection of 141/147 W South Park.
Reinspection revealed improper repairs to both porch and steps of 141 W South
Park & windows still in poor condition. See Photos dtd 11/20/01. Inspection
also revealed no deadbolt lock installed on front entry door of 147 W South park
and handrails not installed to code on front steps as ordered June 25, 2001.
