FINDINGS OF INSPECTION
THE EAST FRONT STEPS ARE BADLY DETERIORATED AND PRESENTLY NOT
INSTA~LED ON THE DWELLING, THESE STEPS SHALL BE REBUILT ,TO
CODE lCOPY ENCLOSED) TO INCLUDE HANDRAILS AND GUARDRAILS.
THE FRONT PORCH DECKING IS DECAYED UNDER THE ROOF SUPPORT &
SHALL BE REPAIRED. THE GUARDRAILS AND HANDRAILS ARE ALSO
LOOSE AND SHALL BE MADE SECURE SO AS TO WITHSTAND 200 POUNDS
OF FORCE IN ANY DIRECTION,
THE LARGE PILE OF CUT TREE BRANCHES SHALLBE REMOVED FROM THE
PROPERTY AND THE STUMP SHALL ALSO BE REMOVED AND THE EARTH
LEVELED.
A HANDRAIL IS REQUIRED ON THE REAR INTERIOR ENTRY STEPS AND
THE HANDRAIL ON THE BASEMENT'STEPS SHALL BE BROUGHT UP TO
CODE~ WITH INTERMEDIATE RAILINGS.
THE HANDRAIL ON THE STAIRS TO THE SECOND FLOOR IS LOOSE AND
SHALL BE MADE SECURE TO THE WALL.
THE SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE LIVING ROOM HAS NOT BEEN INSTALLED
PROPERLY BEING TOO LOW TO WORK ,PROPERLY. THE BASEMENT SMOKE
DETECTOR HAS A BROKEN MOUNTING, THE TENANT INDICATES SHE HAS
NEVER RECEIVED WRITTEN SMOKE DETECTOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND
HAS BEEN REPLACING BATTERIES HERSELF. SHE ALSO INDICATES SHE
SAW NO NEW BATTERIES INSTALLED AT THE BEGINNING OF HER TENANC
NOR WERE NEW BATTERIES INSTALLED THIS MONTH WHEN SHE RENEWED
HER LEASEDEFICIENCIES MUST BE CORRECTED AND APPROV BEFORE

BATH FOR SAFETY OF THE TENANT~
THE EAST BEDROOM CEILING FIXTURE BOX SHALL BE PROPERLY SEALED
IT APPEARS THAT NEW WIRING HAS BEEN INSTALLEDFQRABATHROOM
REMODELING AND THERE ARE NO PERflITS ON FILE FOR THEV/ORK;
IT APPEARS THAT A NEW VANITY SINK AND WASTE HAS BEEN INSTALLE
IN THE BATH WITHOUT PERMIT USING UNAPPROVED MATERIALS. IT
ALSO APPEARS THAT THE TUB ,AND TUB WASTE HAVE BEEN INSTALLED
WITHOUT PERMIT OR LICENSE. THE WATER SUPPLY ON THE TOILET
HAS BEEN REPLACED WITH UNAPPROVED MATERIAL. THE KITCHEN SINK
AND \^IASTE ~ND WATER SUPPLY HAS BEEN REPLACED WITHOUT PERMIT
OR LICENSE. ' .
THE WATERHEATER VENTING IS LOOSE FROM THE WATERHEATER CREATIN
A POSSIBLE CO HAZARD1 THE VENTING SHALL BE.MADE SECURE TO TH
DRAFT DIVERTER OF THE WATERHEATERI.
ITEMS #1! #6 AND #11 SHALL BE CORRECTED IMMEDIATELY. AN IN-
SPECTION WILL BE MADE ON JUNE 21" 1991 TO ASSURE COMPLIANCE
OR PROGRESS ON THE REMAINING VIOLATIONS. PERMITS SHALL BE
OBTAINED BY THIS TIME.
