Introduction pn October 15, 2002 I met with Sten Anderson at the above property to inspect a roofing project. The inspection revealed the
allowing violations. I have enclosed a drawing of the deck framing for a portion of the roof (not drawn to scale).

Methods of Design. All dwellings shall be designed by the method of structural analysis or the method of accepted practice
~pecified in each part of this code(COMM 21). 1" x 12" roof boards should not be used due to the excess shrinkage in the
~ood. OSB panel edges and ends shall be spaced with 1/8" gap between panels and joints of panel edges parallel with roof
rafters placed directly over rafters for support.

I have enclosed sections of Certainteed shingle application manual so that you may reference the manufactures requirements
or roof decking. Please correct the above violations and request a re-inspection within the next 30 days. Office hours are
