The tenants of the second floor apartment have no ready
access to the service panel (breakers/fuses). Access is'
required by the National Electric Code. A basement door
key shall be supplied to the tenants.

The South second floor porch is in an extremely deteriorat d
condition with decayed flooring, ceiling and roofing. This
porch is an extreme hazard in its present condition to the
tenants. Pigeons are also roosting inside the porch roof.

tree stumps shall be removed.

made sound and secure.
A reinspection of the property will be made on July 25,
1988 to assure progress or compl iance in the correction
of the noted violations.

A reinspection of 605 Washington Avenue revealed that the
fol lowing violatIons still have not been corrected after
a FINAL NOTICE was Issued:
The porch from the second floor apartment is still in a
seriously deteriorated condition with a collapsing floor
and holes in the roof. Pigeons are also still nesting
in the deteriorated portions.
A handrai 1 is required on the UPPER set of steps to the
second floor apartment. Someone has installed a handrail
where one already exists.
The North porch, steps, guardrails and handrails are still
in a deteriorated condition and shall be replaced to CODE.
Alight fixture has not been installed as required on the
North entry.
The West entry steps are still unsound and shall be made
secure and safe.
A reinspection will be made on September 7, 1988 to assure
compliance. Permits shall be taken out by this time and
a concerted effort made to complete the required" work.

Inasmuch as this dwelling has been under orders since
August 31, 1988, I will make another inspection on
May 1, 1989 to assure that all of the violations have
been corrected. Failure to comply by this time will
result in citations being issued.

THE AUTO PARTS ALONG THE SOUTH SIDE OF' THE DWELLING SHALL BE
REMOVED,
THE LARGE IRON POSTS EAST OF THE DWELLING SHALL BE REMOVED.
THE SOUTHWEST PORCH ROOF SUPPORT IS IN POOR CONDITION AND
LOOSE GIVING NO SUPPORT TO THE PORCH ROOF. ..THE SUPPORT AND
ROOF SHALL BE PROPERLY REPAIRED OR REPLACED.
THE WEST BASEMENT WINDOW IS BROKEN AND SHALL BE REPLACED.
THE NEWLY REPLACED CONCRETE STEPS TO THE NORTH DOES NOT.MEET
CODE AS A PLATFORM IS REQUI RED AT THE TOP OF THE STAI RS,., THE
STEPS THAT WERE REPLACED DID HAVE THE REQUIRED PLATFORM,
THE CEILING DAMAGE IN THE STAIRWELL TO THE SECOND FLOOR SHALL
BE REPLACED,' .
THE ROOF AND ESPECIALLY THE ROOF.VALLEYS ARE LEAKING ALLOWING
RAINWATER TO.ENTER THE UPPER DWELLING AND DAMAGE CEILINGS IN
THE KITCHEN AND NORTHEAST CLOSET. THE..ROOFING SHALL BE RE-
PLACED AND THE CEILING DAMAGE REPAIRED.

NO TRAP VISABLE ON THE WASTE PIPING.
THERE IS NO SMOKE DETECTOR IN THE BASEMENT AS REQUIRED.
THERE ~S NO RUNOFF TUBE ON THE RELIEF VALVE OF THE WATER
HEATER.,. THE OLD WATER HEATER LYING ON THE FLOOR SHALL BE
REMOVED.

FROM THE PREMISES.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF OPEN ELECTRICAL JUNCTION BOXES IN THE
BASEMENT \"IH I CH SHALL BE PROPERLY SEALED.
A REINSPECTION WILL BE MADE ON JUNE 18; 1991 TO ASSURE THE
OPEN SEWERS HAVE BEEN..SEALED, THE SMOKE DETECTOR SHALL BE
