Dear Mr. Buettner:
~nis property was discussed in my office approximately two years
ago. It 1s properly zoned and used as a 4-unit apartment building
and per your conversations with me, the lissage has not changed.
There are certain violations that have been noted by our building \
inspection department and upon correction of said violations, an
occup~~cy permit will be issued. The occupancy permit will be
issued, however, limiting the use of said building to four apartments,
to be occupied by four families, a family is defined as not more
than four unrelated people occupying any particular unit.
You have indicated to me that this is the t'iay you have operated it
or are operating it and the way the building will continue to
operate. If the uses as ~ndicated are correct, the building
comports to the City of Oshkosh zoning code.

The second exit porch and guardrails are in a deteriorati
condi tion v/i th decay evident. This porch s.hall be replac
with new treated limber and the guardrails made secure.
The tenant of this unit has no access to the service pane
as required by the National Electric Code. The door to
the service panel is blocked by the refrigerator and is
loc~ed. Previous orders were issued on January 7, 1987
concerning the blocking of the doors in all apartments to
the service panels. From this d~te on any inspection tha:
reveals a blocked door, either locked or blocked by any
appliance which prohibits tenants from access to their
service panel will be referred to the Electrical Inspecto
and citations will be issued for each violation in each
apartment. No more Violation/Correction notices will be
issued concerning these violations of the National Elect-
ric Code.
The smoke detector in the apartment was disconnected. It
is "tIle respoDsibili ty of the owner to supply smoke d~tec-
tors and/or new batteries for each new tenancy and also
on a yearly basis. A responsibility form is enclosed.
You are required by City Ordinance to supply tenants with
this information.
A reinspection will be made on August 21, 1989 to assure
progress or compliance. Periodic inspections will be
made to DEFICIENCIES MUST BE CORRECTED AND APPROVED ensure
