ED FEB 1 9 1998 ON-SITE OBSERV A nON REPORT FRONTENAC APARTMENTS DEPARTMENT OF Oshkosh, WI 54901 r.t!~MItNITY DEVELOPMENT Project #96077/Monday, February 16, 1998, yo;M i\1Vf. 309D Brown Street - Walk-through with Allyn Dannhoff, Bruce Luedtke, Chuck Cook and Jim Larson. This meeting was held to review progress to date. Chuck Cook has ha~ his crews in this unit for approximately three weeks. 1. All of the parting stops from hereon in will be replaced instead of trying to replace, repair, scrape and refinish, which Chuck believes will make the project go smoother. 2. Chuck is still pursuing the exact weather-stripping to be used at the base of the sash. 3. Chuck is also working with Spies Painting as to a consolidation material to place on the wood sills in lieu of cladding. They will try one or two window units and ~ee how it works before proceeding on with the remainder . 4. Chuck will investigate with the Do-It Center replacing all the sash and taking any good sash from each apartment and placing them all on one exterior wall (for example, east or rear elevation). He will know this as a comparison with the work he has done at 309D 13rown in labor versus getting new sash. He will talk to the Brinkmans about this. 5. This unit is approved for temporary occupancy as soon as Allyn issues the appropriate papers. James E. Larson Architect t flto{etf! ,.
