309D Bro Street - Walk-through with Allyn DannhofT, Bruce Luedtke, Chuck Cook and Jim U\tson. This
meeting was held to review progress to date. Chuck Cook has had his, crews in this unit for approximately two
weeks.
l.
Every window has been removed, inspected, re-glazed, caulked, glass fixed and frames repaired and/or
replaced as necessary. The frames ofthe units have also had guiding rails replaced and/or scraped and
refurbished.
2. Bruce Luedtke's comments were that we are on the right track with the exception ofthree window units
where there were small holes in the sash that still need to be yither puttied and sanded for a proper fit
and/or the bottom of the window sawed off with treated wood, installed as has been accomplished on
several.

3.
Allyn Dannhoffis in agreement that the project is going in accordance with everyone's wishes. The
inspection department would like to review window units periodically, perhaps every three apartments and
prior to the priming and finishing taking place. Chuck and Larson will keep them abreast of progress.
4. Chuck Cook explained how the screens were going to be attached on the outside and minor trim pieces
removed that have mostly rotted and are not necessary. It was also noted that the screens will be attached
with wing nuts from the outside.
5. Chuck also pointed out that the rest of the units will be accomplished by removing window units and
taking them to 309D to be worked on. This way the tenants will be the least disturbed.
6. It is going to be important that exterior priming take place immediately as weather allows. It was
suggested that the sills be either consolidated and primed and/or clad. Chuck and Larson believe that
cladding the sills is the best option, the quickest and has the most longevity.
7. Allyn and Bruce will put a report in their files that they have inspected the site today and the project may
proceed into the remainder ofthe units; and that units accomplished to date are acceptable as noted above.
