"J~~ ,\0' ~" ~~ FINAL INSPECTION REPORT FRONTENAC APARTMENTS Oshkosh, WI 54901 Project #96077/Wednesday, June 3, 1998 Make certain that any area well grates are properly fastened along all streets so that there is not a tripping hazard or so that they can not be removed by someone other than building managers. 2. At this point it appears all screens have been put in place. All painting is accomplished. NOTE: The center 2nd .floor bays have only one screen on the center window which meets the 4% and 8% ventilation and all units have portable screens in case they wish to have additional ventilation. 3. I would recommend a final cleanup of city sidewalks as there are screws, nails, paint debris etc., on the sidewalks. 4. There are 3 screens missing on the back of the building which are an odd size and are on back order, they will be installed as soon as they arrive. 5. A permit will be taken out for all the revisions to the tubs in this building, as those also have been accomplished. 6. Painting of windows at interior courtyard should be accomplished with final coat. 7. Screens should be added at interior courtyard windows also, especially at the dining rooms that face courtyards, these are habital rooms therefore, still need screens that equal 4% ofthe room. One window may suffice. 8. Allyn has recommended that an additional screw be added on the bottom of the screens where the base sill is slightly irregular where there is still a gap that bugs could infiltrate the room through. In these cases where the screen is not snug, he is also suggesting a small piece of rope, caulk, or some kind of sealant that will at least make the areas totally bug tight, be installed which will still allow water run off from the sill. .~ -::1' J..', ~ " June 3, 1998 Page 2 9. Per last correspondence, finalization of orders issued and acceptance should be accomplished either by City Building Inspection Department, Warren Kraft, Gary Yakes, etc., so there are dates and agreements formalized.
