Brinkman:
This letter 1s concerned with Wisconsin Administrative Code
requirements and Oshkosh Municipal Code requirements at the
Frontenac Apartments located at 309 Brown Street, 132, 136, and
140 High Avenue, Oshkosh, Wiscon'sin.
You have been advised in correspondence from the Department
of Industry, Labor & Human Relations on June 25, 1974, and
August 13, 1974 of the following requirements on the Class-A fire-
escapes at the Frontenac Apartments.
1.
Brackets shall be fastened at the top by nO.t less than
7/8" through bolts. Expansion anchors and 9/8" bolts
are not acceptable. Ind. 51.20 (5).

3. The grade shall effectively be raised by the mounding
of earth on both sides of each platform such that each
platform shall be no more than 10 feet above the ground.

yet been completed. Furthermore, no progress was made on the

no state correspondence, which you spoke of, regarding a further
extension on these requirements. The above worksha11 be completed
on or before December 31, 1974. If ~pt oompleted on or before that
date, this matter will be referred to the City Attorney for legal
action.
