21.08. The door and frame assenibly between the dwelling unit and an attached garage
shall be labe!ed by an independent testin~ agency as having a minimum fire-resistive
rating of20 minutes. All drywall joints are required to be taped/sealed unless the
joints are fitted so that the gap is no more than a dimes thickness ( 1/20-inch) and

belongings are allowed in thedweUing. If occupancy is required prior to the completion
of the house the applicant/owneris required to submit an application for a Temporary
Occupancy Permit along with the required fees. A Temporary Occupancy may be
approved provided that all health and safety issues are complete and approved.

occupancy is approved. Occupancy is not allowed prior to the placard having all ofthe
