Good day. I contacted Diane Seckar to gain your contact information and get in touch
with you. I am contacting you regarding the property at 1335 Powers St., which you are
currently in charge of. I performed the electrical service upgrade inspection there
September 20th. I feel I can and should provide you with added courtesy, being that you
are a former police chief and his spouse. So I am contacting you personally, rather than
send a correction notice to the house on Powers St.
While performing the service inspection I had some reservations about the furnace
installation. I was and am hoping you plan to have repairs or a replacement of the
building's heating system installed. I am sure you are busy dealing with many aspects of
this situation. In case you have not looked at it closely as of yet, enclosed are some
photos ofthe installation I have concern with. The exhaust is run in corrugated, flexible
pipe a long distance with inconsistent pitch. The ductwork appears to be installed in a
manner, which I doubt allows the system to work as efficiently as it should. '
My apologies, bothering you with this business at your home, when you are most
assuredly dealing with much already. However, I feel this to be a serious issue that must
be addressed at some point. When it is convenient for you, please contact me with any
questions, comments, or concerns regarding this situation.
