Solid core/fire rated doors to be installed on all living unit entry doorways. Un-needed doors may be sealed with fire rated drywall to eliminate door installation. 2. Deadbolt locks as defined in Section 16-22 shall be installed on all living unit doors.. 3. All cracked/damaged interior stair treads to be replaced. 4. Combustion air shall be supplied to the furnace room and the fire door kept closed at all times. 5. Additional electrical wall receptacles shall be installed for safety of the occupants (especially kitchens) 6. The boiler/fire room shall be isolated from the rest of the building by fire-rating the ceiling where joists exposed. 7. All garbage, brush and debris shall be cleared from the premises. Fencelines to be cleared of debris. 8. The East common entry/exit steps for the lower rear apartment and beauty parlor shall be rebuilt to Code. Items #1, #2, #3, #5 & #8 shall be corrected on or before June 15, 1996. Items #4 & #6 shall be corrected before July 17, 1996. Item #7 shall be corrected immediately. .~ Failure to comply with the specified due dates will result in the reissuing of all citations which have been dismissed today without prejudice. You will however be required to pay citation #96H1493 in order for the remaining citations to be dismissed. Any vacant living units shall not be rented or advertised for rent or occupancy allowed until such time the building meets all requirements for occupancy. I ,A~ ~ .~ understand that I am to comply .-- with the above in order to get a dismissal on all but one of the citations issued to me and scheduled for court action today. I also understand that should I fail to meet these dates the citations will be reissued. I also understand that I shall not rent, advertise for refit or allow occupancy of any dwelling unit that is now vacant until the building is brought up to Code and inspected and approved.
