CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY
An Occupancy Permit is hereby granted for the new 2 story home with 3 car attached
garage and rear patio located at 2798 Hamilton Street, Oshkosh, Wisconsin 54901 as
described in Building Permit Application number(s) 97519.
This building is to be used only as a single family dwelling and is located in the
R-1 Single Family Residence District.
LIMITATIONS:
Maximum Floor Loading: 40 Ibs. Per square foot live load
Maximum persons and/or living units: One living unit
CONDITIONS:
1) Final grading must be done in accordance with the approved subdivision drainage
plan. This plan is on file in the public works office, 3rd floor of City Hall
2) Erosion control measures must be maintained until the lawn is established.
Note: Final grade must be a minimum of 6" below all siding.
NOTE:
1) Copies of inspection results are available upon request in room 205, City Hall.
2) Future permits may be required for additional work to your property.
A new Certificate of Occupancy shall be required prior to occupancy, should additional
building(s) be erected, or should any buildings mentioned above be altered or moved.
The use of land, or buildings, shall not be changed until a Certificate of Occupancy is
issued for that occupancy. All conditions noted above must be complied with in order
for this certificate to be valid.

REOUIRED INSPECTIONS:
Inspections are necessary at certain stages of construction to verify compliance with state and local building and zoning code
regulations.
The following checked inspections are required for this specific job:
D FOOTINGIPOST HOLE- The footing forms shall be D ROUGH HEATING
inspected and approved prior to pouring concrete.
D ROUGH ELECTRICAL
D FOUNDATION- The completed foundation walls,
outside drain tile, and stone backfill shall be inspected and D ROUGH PLUMBING
approved prior to backfilling.
D INSULATION- The installation of the insulation and
D UNDERGROUND PLUMBING vapor barrier shall be inspected prior to installing drywall

~ The permit card is required to be posted in public view prior to commencing excavating or building work.
> Inspections shall be performed within 2 business days after the work is completed and proper notification has been received. This
means that 2 days must be provided from the time the project is ready for the inspection, not 2 days prior to the inspection being
ready. Please note the City of Oshkosh Municipal Code allows a $100 re-inspection fee to be charged for the following situations:
an inspection is conducted and it is determined that the project was not ready for the inspection, a re-inspection is conducted to
verify violations and the violations are not corrected, the same violations have been found numerous times for the same contractor
and/or homeowner, or ifno access is provided to the job. Construction shall not proceed beyond the point of the inspection uIltil
the inspection has been completed and passed. Inspections will be conducted as soon as possible after proper notification is
received.
