As stated previously in Rick Olson's (DILHR Staff Engineer) plan review letter of May 22. 1991. office suites must have two directions of exiting and exiting through another tenant space is not allowed. Box 1130 Oshkosh, WI 54902-1130 RE: Office at 215 Market Street (part of 103 High Avenue, David Sparr Project, Oshkosh, WI) Dear Allyn: There have been several conversations in the last couple of weeks concerning the office suite at the south end of the building known as 103 High Avenue, a suite which is now being advertised with an address of 215 Market Street. As can been seen by the enclosed advertisement, there is approximately 1350 square feet available with its own entry off of Market Street. I have enclosed for your use a sketch of how we have always visualized this section of the building to be utilized. Please note that the Market Street entrance and th~ area at the top of the entry stairs will be used as part of the suite. The suite, in our opinion, is not defined as only the area within the portion of the office further to the west. The exiting from the main suite will still pass through this reception area and cannot be locked for access from the main David Sparr suite. We realize this is a slightly different situation than you might normally see in an office rental suite. But we are under the opinion that the intent of the two means of exiting from the office suite door is still realized with the separate Market Street entrance. For this reason, initially the building was submitted to the State of Wisconsin for approval based on these assumptions. I am passing this information on to you to see if you feel this will suffice for the 1800 square foot suite exiting requirement or if you still feel that a secondary exit from this suite is necessary. After you have reviewed this drawing and letter please let me know so that we can discuss it personally or meet at the job site to review the suite design to date.
