Dear Paul:
Per your request a rough framing inspection was made at 1634
Hickory Street on January 5, 1994. The following items were found
to be in noncompliance:
~,~ ~ ILHR 21.22, install metal framing anchors on floor joists as

an ~'ILHR 21.22, newly installed floor joists are overspanned.
~Per ILHR 22.28, newly installed roof rafters are overspanned.
,4~r ILHR 21.04, thy riser heights oIl; the stairway to the second
~oor must not exceed 8 inches, and must be uniform to within 3/16
of an inch.
C9 Per ILHR 21.22, a bearing wall or support column must be
Ins~lled adjace,nt to the stairway leading to the second floor.
V-Per ILHR 21.22, existing floor joists and other structural
members must be properly supported where bearing walls have been
removed.
7) Per ILHR 21.03, any second floor sl eeping area must meet the
minimum egress requirements for window size. (net clear opening at
least 20 inches wide by 24 inches high, with a maximum sill height
of 46 inches).
8) Per ILHR 21.06, all habi table rooms must meet the minimum
cei 1 ing height requirements. (50"0 at least ; feet in height).
All above items must be corrected, and a reinspection called for
prior to the closing up of any walls. As we discussed on the
jobsite, my recommendation is that you contact an engineer to
furnish our office with details and a s~amped letter with reference
to the structural corrections to be made. Please call 236-5051 if
you have any further questions in this matter.

Per your request a final bui lding inspection was made at 1634
Hickory Street on May 17, 1994. The following items were found to

atio door, or pin the door until the deck is installed.
2) D~LHR 21.08, fire wall separating house from garage must be

wall must have a minimum fire rating of 20 minutes.
3) ~ ILHR 21.04, install handrai I to basement, and protection

garage wall.
All above items must be corrected, and final inspection called for
within 30 days of this notice in order to secure the certificate of
