This request is being driven by our need to test vehicles for the development of equipment for the United States Government. During our review of the state approved route, we determined that the 20th street bridge over highway 41 does not allow for the movement of these vehicles (45 ton capacity). The above requested routing on City streets will allow us to connect with the state approved route (attached) and continue our testing operations. The frequency of vehicles operating on this route is driven by government needs. Currently, we have only utilized this route a few times in the past 30 days. Past frequency has been approximately 3-4 times a month on the average. Please let me know if you need any additional information in regards to this letter. Thank you for considering this request.
