HomeMy WebLinkAbout07-202 JULY 24, 2007 07 -202 RESOLUTION (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: INITIATED BY: GRANT CONDITIONAL USE PERMITS; APPROVE PLANNED DEVELOPMENTS: A) SOUTH WASHBURN STREET, SOUTH OF 3125 SOUTH WASHBURN STREET B) OHIO STREET, BRIDGEVIEW CENTRE C) STEARNS DRIVE / LESNICK DEVELOPMENT A) BERGSTROM AUTOMOTIVE B) BROS LLC C) WM DEVELOPMENT PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved with conditions as noted BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh that conditional use permits are hereby granted for the following properties under Section 30-11 of the Oshkosh Zoning Ordinance, and that said permits are granted with conditions, if any, as noted for each respective property, and the Planned District Overlay and development plans, per the attached exhibits, are hereby approved. A) South Washburn Street, South of 3125 South Washburn Street; Bergstrom Automotive A conditional use permit for a planned commercial development to establish an automobile dealership to include, but not limited to, construction of a 1,200 sq. ft. building, display pod/platform, customer parking, and associated amenities, per the attached "Exhibit A", with the following conditions: 1) All lots within the development area are combined to create a single parcel as depicted on the site plan. 2) Establishment of an encroachment agreement for improvements in the proposed utility easement of the former right-of-way. 3) Provide an access easement for the 2 internal drives to the Bergstrom Toyota site to the south. 4) Base standard modification for a 5 ft. south side yard setback. 5) Addition of 2 islands at parking row ends in the front parking area 6) Base standard modification to exceed the maximum illumination levels at the south property line. 7) Light fixtures are angled no greater than 90 degrees. 8) Drainage and grading be reviewed and approved by the Engineering Department. JULY 24, 2007 07 -202 RESOLUTION CONT'D B) Ohio Street, Bridgeview Centre; Bros LLC A conditional use permit to amend a previously approved planned commercial development to install 2 ground signs along Ohio St., per the attached "Exhibit B", with the condition that the signs be setback 1 0 ft. from the edge of the Ohio St. right-of-way property line.
