Mr. G~W. Schaefer
16727 Bayfield "B"
Fountain Hills, Arizona 85268
Dear Mr. Schaefer:
After discussing the actions which Mr. Bruce Luedtke took relative to the property
at 1230 Walnut St., Oshkosh, it is my belief that Mr. Luedtke acted properly and
was not influenced in this matter by the fact that his residence is on Walnut St.
No City official or employee can ignore any condition or problem which his
position would require attention to, due to the fact that his or her place of
residence is nearby.
From checking with the Code Enforcement Division, the current status of the orders
on the property at 1230 Walnut St. are as follows: On January 7, 1992 a letter
from Chief Building Inspector, Allyn Dannhoff and copies of the Violation/
Correction Notice were sent to you. The Violation/Correction Notice cited section
7-48, which gives you the option to raze or repair this structure. This Notice
will come up for further review in early February at which time the status of the
order will be examined to determine if substantial action has been taken to
proceed with either the repair or the demolition of the structure. If no
substantial actions have been taken, the Department will proceed with the
necessary steps to have this structure razed.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, I suggest you contact the City
Attorney's Office at (414) 236-5115.
Sincerely,
CITY OF OSHKOSH

Dear Sir:
Enclosed are copies of letters I sent you and the Housing
Inspector on 16DEC91 and 23DEC91. I have not received any reply
as yet. I sent the letters by certified mail so that there
would be legal record of them.
I would appreciate some correspondence from you regarding the
charges I have made concerning Bruce Luedtke's personal
involvement.
I would like an answer to my request for a stay of Raze Order
7-48 which allows me time to negotiate with the mortgage co.
Since the date of the above mentioned letters I have completed
and submitted the required paper work for the deed in lieu. I
am told by the mortgage company that the decision making
process will take 40-60 days.
Thank You
