COMPLIANCE DATE:
Smoke detectors are required on each floor of both apart-
ments including the basement. (4 required)
The oven door does not close properly creatlng a burn
hazard In the narrow gallery kitchen. The oven doors
shall bernade to close tightly. (Front Apartment)
The bathroom of the front apartment requires ventilation
by means of an openable window or mechanical ventilation
to the outside. (PERMIT REQUIRED)
A GFI electrical wall type receptacle 1s required in the
b~throom of the front apartment. (PERMIT REQUIRED)
The existing handrails in the front apartment to the 2nd
floor are too low and shall be remounted 32 inches above
the nose of the stair treads.
The holes in the front apartment 2nd floor closet shall
be properly closed off.

The rear apartment bathroom requires mechanical ventila-
tion or an openable window to the outside, PERMIT

The tub surround in the rear apartment bathroom is de-
teriorating making it impossible to keep clean and san-
itary. The tub surround shall be replaced.

The romex supplying the garage with electrical current

electrical contractor.
Reinspections are made eiery 15 days for a period of
45 days if corrections are being made. A reinspect ion
will be made on June 17, 1988 to assqre progress in the
correction of the violations. Permits and/or licensed
contractors will be required for some of the work.
