Existing means of egress emergency lighting is permitted to be maintained in compliance with the code in effect at the time of construction. Any altered path of egress, or new path of egress, and any new emergency lighting being installed is required to comply with current code requirements. . Comm 62.1101 General Requirements. ANSI A117.1-404.2.4 Maneuvering Clearance at doors. Maneuvering clearance shall comply with Table 404.2.4.1. The door into the women's accessible toilet stall does not have the required access on the latch side. A janitor closet that has only one service sink may be provided with either natural ventilation via a window or louvered opening with at least 2 square feet (0.2 m2) of area openable directly to the outside or mechanical exhaust ventilation as specified in Table 64.0403.
