The above project consists of a second floor Tenant build out. The entire suite is 1907 square feet. The north section of this suite has 845 square feet. This is the room that will be occupied by the yoga classes. As per table 1003.2.2.2, an exercise room requires 50 square feet of floor space per occupant. At this ratio there will be a maximum of 17 people in this room. At this ratio there would only be 39 people in the whole suite. In either instance there will be less than 50 people in the suite and as per code only one exit door will be required and that door needs not swing in the direction of egress. This suite has two (2) doors, one swings in and one swings out. These plans have been submitted to the State and have been accepted as shown. I am attaching a letter from the new tenant stating that there will never be more than 50 people in the entire suite at one time including instructors.
