Upon receiving a neighborhood complaint it was noted that construction has commenced ~ithout obtaining the required
building permit. It has come to the attention of this office that there is additional work being done then what is covered in the
permit that was obatined for exterior work. Additionally it appears the garage is in structural failure.

. If the city of Oshkosh would keep their eyes in neighborhoods where hom~s ar~ not
maintained we as taxpayers would not have to pay to repair and clean up these so called
blighted areas.
Volunteers could be recruited to be watch dogs throughout the city.
Send someone around the city with a camera, do not wait until many of these properties
are falling down and trash piled a mile high before something is done. Home owners as
well as tenants should be responsible for maintaining their homes and yards, not the
taxpayers because they are just too lazy.
Two years ago (at least) the following was reported to the city inspectors pffice.
920 W Bent new room was created in an unfinished attic, new electric, all new windows
and doors were installed, new fence, where was the permit????

1005 W Bent House should have been condemmed, it has now been sold and win
not attract people thatwiH maintain the property, how often has this property been
inspected since the many different workers have been pounding nails there. Are you sure
everything has been done with a licensed contractor?
1614 Beech Trailers in back yard, mile high hedge not trimmed, junk piled by garage,.
garage sale that last t.1.rough out the summer. Nice to look at.
1615 Beech Side porch falling off (was just now removed) broken vvindows, unkempt
yard, make shift storage shed (just built) dog tied outside an day or funning'through
neighbors yards.
1621 Beech House has been vacant for at least seven years, had many code violations,
should have been condemmed . If it had been inspected throug.l} out the years it would
have been condemmed.
1624 Beech unkempt yard, south side window was closed up when illegal bath was
installed, window is unsightly, main wan was ta.lcen out in upper bedroom, fence installed
with no permit.
1624 Cedar A pile, of trash lJ,as been grower larger each year behind this house,
skunks,possums and "whatever there surely makes t.1.eir home there in the winter and
possibly in the summer also. .
