Our service mechanic has reported that an undesirable condition exists on/in your water heater.
For health and safety reasons, we have turned offthe gas supply to this equipment. It is recommended that
use of this equipment be discontinued until the condition indicated with an ( x) in the tabulation below has
been corrected.
1. ( ) Leak in house piping.
2. ( ) Unvented appliance.
3. ( ) Obstructed or rusted out vent or chimney.
4. ( ) Defective safety or no safety pilot.
5. ( ) Defective heat exchanger.
6. (x) Appliance producing carbon monoxide. Water heater burner is very rusty and unit is full of
soot. Clean and inspect unit or replace it.
7. ( ) Other
We mow that you are interested in keeping your gas equipment performing in a safe manner and suggest that
you give this matter your immediate attention.
If we can assist you in making the necessary repairs, we want you to feel free to call on us or, if you prefer, call
your appliance dealer or other service agency.
Please notify us at 236-5987 between 7 :30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. when the above condition has been corrected or
if you have any questions.
