For health and safety reasons, we have turned offthe gas supply to this equipment. It is recommended that use of this equipment be discontinued until the condition indicated with an ( x) in the tabulation below has been corrected. 1. ( ) Leak in house piping. 2. ( ) Unvented appliance. 3. ( ) Obstructed or rusted out vent or chimney. 4. ( ) Defective safety or no safety pilot. 5. ( ) Defective heat exchanger. 6. (x) Appliance producing carbon monoxide. Water heater burner is very rusty and unit is full of soot. Clean and inspect unit or replace it. 7.
