Dear Ms. Hobbs:
This letter is regarding the unattached garge at 302 E. Parkway Ave.,
Oshkosh, wi.. It is our opinion that this building is damaged more than
50% of its value, Section 66~05 of the Wisconsin Statutes considers this
situation a Public Nusance and repairs are considered unreasonable.
Therefore, this building should not be repaired but should be removed.
The City of Oshkosh will not serve notice to raze or repair a building
if the owner agrees to remove a damaged building within a short period of
time. If it appears that there will be a considerable period of time before
this building is removed or if you you would prefer that the notice be
served in accordance to the statutes of the state of Wisconsin, please advise.
The City of Oshkosh together with Advocap Inc. cooperate in a Housing
Rehabilitation program, in which qualified property owners may have necessary
work done by Advocap, with little or no cost to them. Property o\vuers interested
in the services may contact Mr. Larry Lechner of the Oshkosh Housing Authority
(phone 424-0380), or Mr. Larry Meltz of Advocaps Supportive Work Program. (426~0150)
