TO: William D. Frueh, City Manager
FROM: Edward L. Reimer, Chief Building Inspector
DATE: June 8, 1979
SUBJECT: 232 East Parkway Avenue
Mr. Burt Bartow, owner of 232 East Parkway
Avenue, had been advised of the condition of the
house and unattached garage at that. propet'ty.
A letter to him from Merlin Raab, The Assistant
Building Inspector at that time, requested that he
advise this office if he intended to raze the
buildings himself, or if he preferred that the City
proceed under Section 66.05 of bhe Wisconsin Statutes.
Mr. Bartow did not reply to that letter.
I have rechecke4 the property and feel, without
a question, that the house and garage must be razed.
The City Attorney will be requested to prepare a
Raze Notice to raze both the house and garage as soon
as allowable under Wisconsin Statutes.
