Separate and seal off front unit from rear construction area.
Basement repair and minor electric and duct work.

Details:
Install doorway in the wall between kitchen and living room.
Close off doorway to old unit 2 (rear).
Install 5/8" fireboard on ceiling of bedroom and living room.
Install new light fixtures in the bedroom and living room.
Switch the electric at box from the bedroom and living room to unit 1 (front).
Switch the heater ducts from the bedroom and living room to unit 1 (front).
Install new door to porch in living room.

Details:
Prepare all electric, gas, duct work, and plumbing lines for rear demolition.
Make all necessary structural preparations for rear demolition.
Demolish rear end of structure.
Re-side new exterior wall, creating new entrances to basement and lower unit.
Build exterior stairs up to 2nd floor, an 8'x10' wood deck, and entrance to the new upper unit.
Repairireplace 3 floor joists and replace 1 section of main support beam in basement.
Have premises sprayed for wood damaging insects.
Install 5/8" fireboard on remaining lower unit ceilings.
