Dear Mr. Meetz;
This communication is to advise you that the City of Oshkosh is actively seeking demolition bids for the
Razing and Removal of the house at 222 W 8th Ave. As you will recall, this office first sent a Raze
Order in May, 2005. This office stayed action on that Raze order upon receiving assurances from you
that all violations would be corrected and Occupancy Approval obtained by spring of 2006. Because
you did not meet this schedule, this office issued another Raze or Repair Order on July 31,2006 giving
30 days to make all repairs. This order expired September 30, 2006.
Be advised that if all corrections are not made and Occupancy Approval secured prior to Tuesday,
November 7,2006 (the date of the Demolition Bid Opening) this office will proceed with Demolition
Activity per the aforementioned Raze or Repair Order.
Per the attached Correction Notice, you must secure Occupancy Approval from this office's Electrical,
Plumbing and Building & BV AC Inspectors. If you have any questions, please call me at 920-236-5045.
