According to our records, the license for operating the rooming house at
531 JACKSON ST
will expire within
60 days. In order to renew the license, please fill out the application form enclosed with this letter and retum it to this office within 15 days.
The fee for renewal is $310.00 per year. Make your check or money order payable to the City of Oshkosh.
A reinspection must be conducted 30 to 60 days prior to expiration of Rooming House License. If code violations are found during this
inspection, owner must make corrections and have reinspection conducted to verify corrections within the 30 days preceding expiration of
Rooming House License..
The Oshkosh Municipal Code 16-40 (C), states that no person may operate a rooming house unless he/she holds a current license or
a temporary use permit issued by the Housing Inspector in his/her name for the specific rooming house.
Penalties for operating a rooming house without a current license are listed in Section 16-46.

On July 1,2006 the City of Oshkosh put into effect its new fee schedule. As this relates to your rooming house
located at 531 Jackson S1. the new license fee will be $100.00 plus $15.00 per bedroom (please see enclosed copy
of the fee schedule). This means that for your 14-bedroom rooming house the renewal fee will be $310.00. Please
