Do you see any issues if we install the emergency distribution panel DEPQ and the (3) transfer switches in the garage on first floor? See attached PDF (drawing scale is %" = 1'-0") <<Garage.pdf>> Kind regards, Kari Gehde Electrical Designer Muermann Engineering 116 Fremont St. Box 235 Kiel, Wi 53042-0235 Phone (920) 894-7800 ext 111 Fax (920) 894-7916 From: Kari Gehde Sent: Wednesday, November 08,20069:02 AM To: 'bnoe@cLoshkosh.wi.us' Subject: FW: Renaissance Plastic Surgery Kari Gehde Electrical Designer Muermann Engineering 116 Fremont St. Box 235 Kiel, Wi 53042-0235 Phone (920) 894-7800 ext 111 11/9/2006 '" . There are sump pumps in the basement connected to the generator, under a fire condition it would be expected that the normal power and the emergency power will be shut of to the building. Also can not find any requirement indicating that sinks or other equipment can not be in the same room as the distribution equipment -- it would appear from this code section that all the emergency panels on the first floor can stay as indicated on the drawings - would you agree? 7.2.2.1 the transfer switches are allowed to be in the same room as the normal power as long as there is twice the normal distance Le.6' the switches can be moved to provide this clearance Our plan would be to build a closet around the panelboard Kind regards Fred Muermann President Muermann Engineering 116 Fremont St. Kiel, WI 53042 Phone 920.894.7800 Fax 920.894.7916 11/9/2006
