Re: Use of Former Sanctuary Area for Pre-School
Dear Ms. Kohler;
You requested a review ofthe subject room for the purposes of using this space for activity space for
your pre-school. Per our conversation the scope of use was as follows:
1. No increase in the number of children for which the business is licensed and
2. This space would be used for children ages 3 and older.

Per these criteria, use of this space is approved subject to the following conditions:

1. Installation of exit lights with emergency illumination luminaries at an east exit door and the
southwest exit door of this space.
2. Installation of an exit light with emergency luminaries at the north exit door from the corridor east of
this room.
3. Removal ofthe manually operated surface bolt on the southwest exit door of this space. There are
other avenues of providing more security for this door with the use of different door hardware.
Please keep in mind the door must be openable from the inside when locked without the use of a key.
If the door hardware is replaced, then it must also meet handicap access requirements (lever action.)
If you pursue this project, please call me at 920-236-5045 for an inspection when these conditions have
been met.
