AMEND CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT; APPROVE
REVISED PLANNED DEVELOPMENT - DISPLAY PODS /
3285 SOUTH WASHBURN STREET
INITIATED BY:
BERGSTROM OF THE FOX VALLEY
PLAN COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Approved w/conditions
WHEREAS, the Common Council previously granted a conditional use permit for
construction of a new auto sales and service facility and associated amenities, with one
of the conditions being that "the display "pod"/platform in the sanitary sewer easement
be relocated outside of the sanitary sewer easement area"; and
WHEREAS, the owner desires to amend the development plan to allow
construction of three automobile display pods/platforms within the front yard setback,
per the attached "Exhibit A".
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of
Oshkosh that the planned commercial development on Washburn Street is hereby
amended to permit construction of three automobile display pods/platforms within the
front yard setback, per the attached "Exhibit A", with the following conditions:
1) Base standard modification to allow a 17 ft. front yard setback for the three
display pods/platforms.
2) Display pods/platforms are limited to the display of automobiles, SUVs and trucks
one ton or less.
3) Landscaping near the display pods/platforms and within the front yard be
installed and maintained per the attached "Exhibit B".
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common Council of the City of Oshkosh
hereby approves of the Planned District Overlay and final development plan per the
attached plan.
