Project No. 307 Dear Captain Y olee: Per your request I have reviewed the proposed new wall locations for the classroom and office area. The classroom area can be divided to create 2 interconnecting rooms on the west side of the present 2 - space classroom. Present office on east side for classroom use has a maximum capacity of 15 based on 20 s.t/person. The two rooms proposed for the west side should be divided equally. The capacity of toddler area is 6 based on 30 s.f. person the back room has a capacity of 10 based on 20 s.t per person. Electronically it would be necessary to add outlets in the new wall and re switch the lights for each room. Mechanical. There are 4 fresh air supplies in the rooms, when dividing the west room, outlet falls in each room. Exit distances remain the same and meet code because the original classroom exits meet code. Impact on toilets etc. does not occur since capacity will not change. Office space can be divided as proposed with no effect on exits. Electric should be adjusted for light switching and power outlets in the new wall. Each office will have 100 s.f. with a capacity of 1 person. HV AC would have to be divided from the eJFisting ductwork to provide equal amounts in each office. C-3 permits construction with 0 feet side, front and rear yard set backs. There are building construction requirements that would have to be complied with. Construction could be completed lot line to lot line with no parking required. If you would like ad~itional information on this item please call. ;;::::;~~~ Ronald D. Hansche HGM Architecture, Inc.
