A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27-20 (A),
AND 27-23 [A-3(G)], (A-5), (A-11) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
AUTHORIZED TRAFFIC OFFICERS, PAY AND DISPLAY MACHINES, LOADING ZONES,
AND PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 27 -20(A) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to
authorized traffic officers is repealed and recreated to read as follows:
SECTION 27-20 AUTHORIZED "TRAFFIC OFFICERS"
(A) For the purposes of enforcing Section 27 -(A-3)(E)(F)(G) of this code,
specifically thirty-minute parking on Elmwood Avenue and Irving Avenue, and
fifteen-minute parking on Algoma Boulevard, the Pay and Display zones on
Algoma Boulevard, High Avenue and Vine Avenue, duly appointed Campus
Police and Security Officers are designated as "traffic officers" within the
meaning of Sections 340.01 (70) and 349.13 of the Wisconsin Statutes and are
authorized to issue citations for all non-moving violations related to Section 27-
(A-3)(E)(F)(G) as heretofore outlined.
SECTION 2. That Section 27-23 [A-3(G)] of the Oshkosh Municipal Code
pertaining to Pay and Display machines is hereby amended as follows:
(G) PAY AND DISPLAY MACHINES
Add Thereto:
Algoma Boulevard, east side, from 205 feet north of
Woodland Avenue to 110 feet south of Vine Avenue,
between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday
through Friday.
Vine Avenue, south side, from Algoma Boulevard to 50
feet west of Elmwood Avenue, between the hours of
8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after
its passage, publication, and placement of the appropriate signage.
