HomeMy WebLinkAbout06-370A NOVEMBER 28, 2006 FIRST READING DECEMBER 12, 2006 06-349 06-370A ORDINANCE SECOND READING (CARRIED 7-0 LOST LAID OVER WITHDRAWN PURPOSE: TRAFFIC REGULATIONS INITIATED BY: TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27-20 (A), AND 27-23 [A-3(G)], (A-5), (A-11) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO AUTHORIZED TRAFFIC OFFICERS, PAY AND DISPLAY MACHINES, LOADING ZONES, AND PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS. The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows: SECTION 3. That Section 27-23 (A-5) pertaining to loading zones IS hereby amended as follows: A-5 LOADING ZONES Delete Therefrom: 8th Avenue, south side, from a point 142 feet east of South Main Street to 242 feet east of South Main Street. 8th Avenue, south side, from 106 feet east of South Main Street to 181 feet east of South Main Street. Add Thereto: SECTION 4. That Section 27-23 (A-11) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to parking regulations on designated streets and alleys is hereby amended as follows: A-11 PARKING REGULATIONS ON DESIGNATED STREETS AND ALLEYS ALGOMA BOULEVARD Delete Therefrom: No parking, east side, from Woodland Avenue to 240 feet north of Woodland Avenue. 1-hour parking, east side, from 240 feet north of Woodland Avenue to 110 feet south of Vine Avenue between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Add Thereto: No parking, east side, from Woodland Avenue to 205 feet north of Woodland Avenue. LINWOOD AVENUE Add Thereto: No parking, south side, from 170 feet west of Beech Street to 50 feet east of Beech Street. Add Thereto: VINE AVENUE Delete Therefrom: 4-hour parking, south side, between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., from Algoma Boulevard to 50 feet west of Elmwood Avenue. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, publication, and placement of the appropriate signage.
