A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTIONS 27-
22(A) AND 27-26(A) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO
PARKING IN MUNICIPALLY OWNED OFF-STREET PARKING AREAS AND ALL
NIGHT PARKING PROHIBITED.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 27 -22(A) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining
to municipal parking lots is repealed and recreated to read as follows:
SECTION 27-22 PARKING OF VEHICLES IN MUNCIPALLY OWNED
OFF-STREET PARKING AREAS
(A) Proper Parkinq. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicles in any municipal
parking facility except within the limits of a designated parking space, except
as permitted in Section 27-22 (B). All vehicles parking in municipally owned
off-street parking areas shall park with the front end facing away from the
aisle except in the North Main Street/400 Block West Parking Lot and
Library Lot. Backing into or pulling through stalls shall be prohibited except
in the North Main Street/400 Block West Parking Lot and Library Lot.
Motorized vehicles with three (3) or less wheels may park with the front end
of the vehicle facing the aisle. Persons for whom the Department of
Transportation of the State of Wisconsin has issued a special registration
plate under Sec. 341.14(1) to (1 r), Wis. Stats. or a special identification card
under Sec. 343.51, Wis. Stats. may back into a marked stall reserved for
vehicles displaying said plates or identification cards.
SECTION 2. That Section 27 -26(A) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining
to all night parking prohibited is hereby amended as follows:
Add Thereto: (1) No person shall permit any vehicle of any kind or
description to be parked in any free two (2) hour or less
parking stall in the following lots between the hours of 2:00
a.m. and 5:00 a.m.
