A GENERAL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF OSHKOSH AMENDING SECTION 30-16
(B) OF THE OSHKOSH MUNICIPAL CODE PERTAINING TO ZONING DISTRICTS.
The Common Council of the City of Oshkosh do ordain as follows:
SECTION 1. That Section 30-16(B) of the Oshkosh Municipal Code pertaining to
Zoning Districts and the map therein described is hereby amended by changing the district
character of the following described area from M-2 Central Industrial to R-1 Single Family.
A part of the NW % of the SE % of Section 26-18-16 in John Smiths 2nd Addition, 14th
Ward, City of Oshkosh, Winnebago County, Wisconsin described as follows: Commencing
at the intersection of the centerline of W. 17th Avenue and the extended west line of the
former Soo Line Railroad right-of-way; thence southerly along the extended westerly line of
said former railroad and the westerly line of said former railroad to the south line of Lot 29
John Smiths 2nd Addition; thence west along the south line of said Lot 29 to the southwest
corner of said Lot 29; thence north along the west line of said Lot 29, 72.6 feet; thence
west parallel to the south line of Lot 30 John Smiths 2nd Addition, 60 feet; thence north
parallel and 60.0 feet west of the west lines of said Lots 22 and 29 to the centerline of W.
17th Avenue; thence east along the centerline of W. 17th Avenue to the point of beginning.
SECTION 2. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication.
