The code violation found will be marked with an X in the list below. ( ) Bare customer wires beyond VVPS connection point. ( ) Bent service wire periscope. () Broken/Detached service wire attachment point or periscope back guy. ( ) Customer property contacting VVPS service wires. ( ) Service wires entering the residence before the meter. (X) Unsupported meter base and/or service wire conduit. ( ) Inaccessible VVPS equipment. ( ) Broken conduit at the meter base. Due to the dangerous nature of electricity, this problem needs to be corrected as soon as possible. If the situation is left without repair, the result could include power outages to the residence, further damage to other parts of your electric service entrance, and/or a fire. Please call your electrician or other service agency to assist you in making the necessary repairs. VVisconsin Public Service (VVPS) is working in conjunction with the City of Oshkosh electrical inspectors on this matter and the situation may fall under the City of Oshkosh Municipal Code Section 11-40. If the situation is not corrected within 30 days, the inspector will begin to enforce the applicable municipal code and may result in disconnection of electric service.
